Product Activation Manager, YouTube APAC GTM

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in a management consulting, sales operations, business strategy or corporate advisory role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience using SQL or data analytics tools to deliver insights and recommendations.
  • Experience with product management or defining product strategy.
  • Knowledge of the media and entertainment ecosystem.
  • Ability to effectively operate with flexibility in a fast-paced, high energy, constantly evolving team environment, and be a self-initiator.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to structure a compelling storyline and build presentation decks/documents to support their position and influence executives.
  • Excellent business acumen with problem-solving and data-analysis skills.

Product and Business Strategy Leaders bring together teams across Google’s functions to help products execute optimally. Our team pushes Google to scale at key points that refine our products and infrastructure by executing efficiently, bringing solid business sense and sound judgment, and working effectively across organizational lines. Our roles often include components of strategy (e.g., analyzing new trends in the industry, evaluating market-entry options, driving business plans), operations (e.g., running the cadence of organizations, connecting the operating lines between our functions), and communications. Our team partners with executive leadership to run important functions that cross-cut our existing organizations and deliver high impact projects. We help Engineers, Product Managers, UX, and all of our other functions to build amazing products that delight our users.

In this role, you will be a key partner to YouTube APAC Partnerships teams and leadership, helping them to bring our products to market, and be an advocate for creators and publishers helping to bring their feedback to product teams to ensure it meets the needs of all of our creators and partners.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy in APAC for key verticals/products. Execute communication documents, lead experiments/trusted tester programs, quarterly forecasting.
  • Work seamlessly with Global Product Activation team and the APAC YouTube Partnerships team to drive business outcomes and product adoption goals, while also leading cross­-functional projects working with broad stakeholder set.
  • Lead the launch of new YouTube products and features in APAC markets. Drive operational excellence, including setting and tracking Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and driving annual business planning. 
  • Gather market intelligence to develop data-led insights to inform business and product strategy and advocate for the region.
  • Collaborate with global product, regional and country teams on pilots, program assessments, and cross-functional engagements to drive market growth and support business plan.
