Technical Program Manager, AI/ML, Cloud Supply Chain Operations

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program management.
  • Experience with data warehouse design and exploratory data analysis.
  • Experience with hardware manufacturing test industry and business operations.
  • Experience with F1-SQL and AI/Machine Learning.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • 5 years of experience in architecting data engineering, data warehousing, data analytics, business intelligence, visualization, and complex data solutions using SQL and Python.
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
  • Full stack development using Angular and Javascripts.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

The Infrastructure Supply Chain and Manufacturing (ISM) Product Operations team aims to take an AI first approach to digitize and automate different aspects of product operations. We focus on improving efficiency by automating processes, providing users with tools and applications to maximize their value while launching and sustaining Google cloud hardware in production.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with engineering and product development teams to understand business requirements. Engage with managers from cross functional teams to develop solutions tailored to their unique business processes.
  • Analyze manufacturing data and other relevant data sources to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for optimization. Develop insightful reports that clearly communicate key metrics to stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain robust, user-friendly products that provide real-time visibility into key operational metrics. Implement proactive alerting mechanisms to notify management of potential issues.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and workflows. Collaborate with relevant teams to develop tools and scripts that streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Translate complex technical and engineering issues into clear, concise summaries that are easily understood by management and cross-functional teams. Facilitate communication between different teams and ensure tight coordination.
