  • 6 years of experience in technical client services.
  • Experience in software development with Python.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin or Cantonese fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's degree in Computer Science or an Engineering field.
  • 7 years of experience in technical client services.
  • Experience working with technical stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical leadership.
  • Experience in agentic workflow or LLM-based solutions.
  • Experience in developing cloud-based databases, data analytics, or extract, transform, load (ETL) systems using one or more technologies such as Oracle, SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis, Hadoop, Spark, HBase, or Apache Beam and developing conversational analytics.

As part of an innovative team in this rapidly growing business, you will help shape the future of businesses of all sizes and use technology to connect with customers, employees, and partners.

As a Cloud AI Engineer, you will design and implement machine learning solutions for customer use cases, leveraging core Google products including TensorFlow, DataFlow, and Vertex AI. You will work with customers to identify opportunities to apply machine learning in their business, and travel to customer sites to deploy solutions and deliver workshops to educate and empower customers. Additionally, you will work closely with Product Management and Product Engineering to build and constantly drive excellence in our products.

In this role, you are the Google Engineer working with Google's largest and most ambitious Cloud customers. Together with the team you will support customer implementation of Google Cloud products through: architecture guidance, best practices, data migration, capacity planning, implementation, troubleshooting, monitoring, and much more.

Responsibilities

  • Work as a trusted technical advisor to customers and solve complex cloud data and AI challenges in the areas of relational database, data analytics, conversational analytics and agentic workflow.
  • Create and deliver best practice recommendations, tutorials, blog articles, open-source and sample code, and technical presentations adapting to different levels of key business and technical stakeholders.
  • Travel 30% of the time within the region for meetings, technical reviews, and onsite delivery activities.
  • Act as a liaison for the engineering and product teams to commercialize solutions with partners and customers.
