Product Manager I, XR Experience

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
  • Experience partnering with brands or strategic partners to deliver customer-facing products.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional and executive stakeholders and build strong partner relationships.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Passion for creating intuitive consumer experiences and simplifying complex customer journeys.

The Android XR team is a group of experts tasked with building Google's next generation computing platform of extended reality devices, the helpful applications and services that deliver user value, and the underlying technologies that will enable the ecosystem. We are focused on making immersive computing accessible to billions of people through mobile and XR devices, and our scope continues to grow and evolve.

For decades, the computing revolution has reshaped our world driven by
breakthroughs in compute, connectivity, mobile, and now, AI. Google's XR team is at the forefront of the next major leap – the convergence of AI and XR. This is more than just new devices – it's about reimagining how we interact with the world around us. We're building a future where
lightweight XR devices like smart glasses and headsets pair with helpful AI to augment human intelligence, offering personalized, conversational, and contextually aware experiences.Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $138000 - $198000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the product goal, strategy, and roadmap for the consumer experience across retail channels for XR devices. Define success metrics and leverage consumer insights, experimentation, and data to prioritize investments and improve the consumer experience.
  • Influence cross-functional stakeholders and lead relationships with executives at external partner organizations to drive strategy, and align priorities, and measurable business outcomes.
  • Design intuitive experiences leveraging AI that help people discover and experience smart glasses across owned and partner channels.
  • Lead cross-functional execution across engineering, design, business development, go-to-market and partner teams from concept to launch. Lead product and strategy decisions to deliver innovative support solutions.
  • Build scalable platform capabilities that enable consistent consumer experiences across retail partners and channels. Partner closely with global eyewear brands and partners to define product requirements and deliver engaging consumer experiences.
