Product Account Manager (English, Portuguese)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 11 years of industry experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, or IT, or 8 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Portuguese fluently to engage with local stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in a leadership role.
  • Experience collaborating with and influencing executive leadership, commercial directors, and technical cross-functional partners to execute plans.
  • Experience working with business intelligence, data analysis, or market sizing frameworks to track performance metrics, pipeline coverage, and operational health.
  • Experience managing flexible resource allocation frameworks, agile staffing methodologies, or complex project portfolios to maximize efficiency and capture growth opportunities.
  • Strong background in digital media, campaign ecosystem metrics, and media implementation best practices across multi-product environments (e.g., Google Ads, Programmatic, SA360).

As a Manager for the Product AM Pool (pAM Pool), you will lead the operational engine responsible for translating high-level product strategy into practical, business value. In this leadership role, you will orchestrate talent, cross-product expertise, and agile resourcing to deliver flawless implementation roadmaps and drive measurable customer business outcomes across the organization.

You will be responsible for driving structural governance, optimizing operational health, and empowering your team to proactively identify growth headroom and unlock customer promote opportunities. You will bring technical and operational depth, strong stakeholder management skills, and a proven track record of leading teams in a changing, cross-functional sales ecosystem.

The Global Business Organization (GBO) is the engine that powers Google’s full ecosystem of products and services to help customers and partners succeed and grow. GBO includes the commercial arms of Ads sellers, business development teams, and customer services and support, as well as overlay programs that enable coordinated engagement with Google's most complex and important customers and partners.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and mentor a high-performing team of cross-product specialists, managing both permanent team members and temporary staff while fostering a strong culture of collaboration.
  • Oversee the framework for resource allocation, ensuring flexible and dynamic team deployment aligns with sector priorities and highest-headroom business opportunities.
  • Lead alignment cadences with Sector Leaders, Product Specialists, and gTech Ads Experts to ensure a successful client strategic landing.
  • Safeguard the team's operational health, tracking pipeline contribution, campaign activation metrics, and product OKR adoption across sectors and portfolios.
  • Act as the central escalation point for critical business coverage and operational alignment, balancing talent management with structural business growth.
