Salesforce Application Engineer, YouTube

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other technical related field.
  • 4 years in a Salesforce Developer or Architect role.
  • Experience working with Salesforce, Integration, Application Design, Application Development, Web Technologies, DevOps, Working Across Boundaries, Leadership

Preferred qualifications:

  • Certified Salesforce Platform Dev II.
  • Salesforce Certified JavaScript Developer.
  • Certified Salesforce Application or System Architect credentials.
  • Experience in designing and implementing SFDC cross-organization along with cross-instance integrations in support of multiple business process environments.
  • Experience in Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, Apex, integration patterns, and scaling the Salesforce platform.
  • Experience in CI/CD and Release Management on Salesforce.

As an Application Engineer Salesforce at YouTube, you will be a part of the salesforce-focused engineering team building business systems for the YouTube GTMS T&I Partnership Systems team that is tasked with achieving greater creator satisfaction and success.

Your work enables our partnership teams to provide strategic, outcomes-focused insights for our top YouTube creators. Outcomes of the team keep the YouTube business organization nimble, able to understand partner needs and innovate accordingly.

Responsibilities

  • Be a technical expert on the Salesforce platform leveraging your proven experience to architect and develop Salesforce-based applications to drive business success.
  • Leverage Apex, LWC, Visualforce, Aura, Javascript and SOQL skills among others to deliver key new features using Salesforce platform and adjacent technologies.
  • Collaborate with the business and operations team to define, evaluate, prioritize, and improve Salesforce-centric applications’ features and functionality. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to stabilize and scale system integrations.
  • Articulate design considerations, trade-offs, benefits, and recommendations for system and application design.
