Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience designing data pipelines, and dimensional data modeling for synch and asynch system integration and implementation using internal (e.g., Flume, etc.) and external stacks (DataFlow, Spark, etc.).
  • 5 years of experience coding in one or more programming languages.
  • 5 years of experience working with data infrastructure and data models by performing exploratory queries and scripts.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience with statistical methodology and data consumption tools such as business intelligence tools, collabs, jupyter notebooks, Tableau, Power BI, DataStudio, and business intelligence platforms.
  • 3 years of experience partnering with stakeholders (e.g., users, partners, customer), and managing stakeholders/customers.
  • Experience in ad sales, ad support, finance, data science, or strategy and operations roles.
  • Familiarity with Google's Search and Measurement products.
  • Knowledge of business intelligence platforms, distributed databases, data analysis tools, and code review systems.

About the job

The Product Data Warehouse (PDW) team within Go-to-Market tracks adoption of ads and measurement products and features. This is used to generate lead lists, analyze the value of various features, set priorities for sales teams, and to help influence the direction of Ads products. Our goal is to organize and produce data that's thoughtful, useful to sales teams, and widely accessible. You'll also find our work in our Ads CRM (Connect Sales), in sales leads' database scripts, in weekly leadership meetings, in incentive contracts for partners, and referenced in Ads annual plans.

In this role, you will lead the measurement and monitoring of the measurement, audience and data products by developing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), data pipelines, dashboards, and doing analysis to derive insights and opportunities. You will work cross-functionally with Global Product Leads, Go-to-Market, Sales, etc. to make sure we have a clear understanding of Measurement, Audience and Data products and to find areas of opportunity.
The Global Business Organization (GBO) is the engine that powers Google’s full ecosystem of products and services to help customers and partners succeed and grow. GBO includes the commercial arms of Ads sellers, business development teams, and customer services and support, as well as overlay programs that enable coordinated engagement with Google's most complex and important customers and partners.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$226,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Drive ads and search, shopping, and performance max feature adoption by developing scalable, shareable sales tools, dashboards, data, and programs using the F1 query engine, and other tools to support key resources.
  • Synthesize advertiser data and conduct analyses to deliver insights and actionable recommendations for product and sales leadership.
  • Define and prioritize KPIs to drive key global initiatives that will be used by regions, countries, and sales pods in all sales channels.
  • Be a strategic thought partner to commercial leaders of products like Performance Max.
  • Manage special projects as assigned.
