Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience working with client-side web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or HTTP).
  • 3 years of experience coding with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript, Python).
  • Experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Proficiency in continuous improvement, execution, organizational change, and stakeholder management.
  • AI Fluency with a capability to leverage AI technologies to drive operational efficiency and program innovation.
  • Working knowledge of technical/data analysis and automation development, such as SQL and database querying, Python, etc.
  • Effective collaboration attributes, including the ability to communicate clearly and align shared or conflicting goals to arrive at the best collective outcome.
  • Excellent unstructured problem-solving skills, with the ability to draw insights from data.
  • Planning skills with the ability to organize ambiguous projects into clear longer-term (6+ months) objectives.

As a Technical Program Manager focused on the Gemini program, you own the operational infrastructure supporting cross-functional and cross-organizational workflows to enable scaled pre-launch product and feature testing and feedback across multiple products. You will proactively identify, organize, and lead program initiatives to successfully deliver business, operational, and technical improvements at scale. You scope, phase, and lead motivated cross-functional and cross-organizational projects to address challenges within the program and capitalize on new opportunities. In this role, you will also exercise technical judgment across multiple teams to develop technical analysis, tools, and processes that support research and engineering execution, excellence, and velocity. You embrace the rapidly evolving tooling landscape for tech workers, balancing present speed and long-term resilience.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $127000 - $183000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Define, lead, and own highly complex program charters across multiple cross-functional teams, rigorously managing program scope, timelines, OKRs, resourcing, dependencies, and data-driven executive decision-making governance.
  • Design optimized program communication plans and manage stakeholder relationships to proactively prioritize strategic objectives, track progress against goals, and successfully streamline critical senior executive communications.
  • Establish scalable organizational processes and implement specialized tooling to capture the user at scale, successfully embedding continuous user-centric advocacy into core product development workflows.
  • Facilitate highly effective cross-functional collaboration among global User Experience Research(UXR), Program Managers (PMs), and engineering partners by performing technical due diligence to evaluate complex engineering scope, milestones, timeframes, and resource allocations.
  • Anticipate change management requirements to develop rollout plans, execute strategic mitigation efforts for program escalations, and implement continuous process improvements to optimize broader organizational workflows and operational efficiency.
