Technical Solutions Consultant, Android Connectivity and Communication Platforms

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers.
  • 3 years of experience in either system design or reading code (e.g., Java, C++, Python).
  • Experience in carrier networking infrastructure and mobile networks.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 7 years of experience in solution engineering or architecture and 5 years of experience in stakeholder management, professional services, or technical consulting.
  • 5 years of experience in a relevant field such as software engineering, product management, technical account management, or sales engineering.
  • Deep experience with connectivity, IMS, telephony, RCS, IP Messaging, SIP, and other related communication protocols.
  • Proficiency in foundational internet technologies like HTTP, TCP/IP, HTML, and JavaScript, along with experience in Unix/Linux environments.
  • Excellent project management, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive complex, multi-party initiatives forward.

Role and Core Responsibilities As a Technical Solutions Consultant, you will fuel the rapid growth and adoption of next-generation communication and connectivity products and protocols. Your core focus is to establish, nurture, and expand technical partnerships with carriers, ECS providers, and aggregators to ensure cross-platform success.

In this role, you will balance business and partner needs with technical constraints to develop innovative solutions while acting as a trusted advisor. Additionally, you will oversee the technical execution and business operations of these partnerships, build tools and automate products, shape product strategy, and effectively prioritize projects and resources.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $152000 - $222000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Own the Partnership Lifecycle: Drive end-to-end technical execution for strategic partners (carriers, ECS providers, aggregators), leading launches, interoperability testing, and feature alignment for Android and cross-platform RCS technologies.
  • Be the Expert: Serve as the trusted technical advisor for Android connectivity and RCS protocols, troubleshooting deep network issues and architecting innovative solutions.
  • Bridge Product and Partners: Act as a critical conduit between partners and internal Engineering, Product, and Business teams, translating partner needs into actionable requirements.
  • Drive Ecosystem Alignment: Collaborate globally to align partner roadmaps with cross-platform RCS services, providing integration support for a flawless user experience.
  • Advocate Data and Engagement: Analyze key metrics to measure partnership health and deliver insights. Travel to partner sites for deep-dives and relationship building.
