Product Manager

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Strategy, Computer Science, Software Engineering, User Experience (UX) Design or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a Product Manager-related occupation.
  • Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Business Strategy, Computer Science, Software Engineering, User Experience (UX) Design or a related field, and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a Product Manager-related occupation.
  • Position requires 3 years of experience in the following: Articulating and advocating for a long-term product vision to stakeholders or Product strategy communication; End-to-end product lifecycle management for technical products; Prioritization and execution of product tasks with user-centric judgment or Product roadmap prioritization; Synthesizing technical and business options to create product solutions or Defining product requirements; and Cross-functional collaboration with engineering, UX/UI, sales, and finance stakeholders or Stakeholder management.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $184,200 - $237,000 + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Learn more about benefits at Google.

Position reports to the Google Kirkland, WA office & may allow for a hybrid schedule as per Google policy.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the product vision and strategic roadmap by identifying user needs, market opportunities, and competitive landscapes.
  • Translate strategy into action by creating detailed product requirements documents and defining key milestones for development teams.
  • Collaborate with engineering, UX, marketing, and legal teams to guide products from initial concept through design and development.
  • Lead the successful launch of new products and features, managing the entire lifecycle from go-to-market to eventual retirement.
  • Define and analyze key product metrics to measure performance, test hypotheses, and drive data-informed iterations and improvements. Drive product development by resolving technical issues, prioritizing features, and making critical trade-off decisions with engineering partners.
