Product Manager II, Partner Program Platform

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in product management or a related technical role (e.g., Technical Program Management, Software Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or Enterprise Systems Architecture).
  • 2 years of experience managing, launching, or migrating platform, developer API, backend workflow engines, or foundational enterprise infrastructure products.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with Partner Relationship Management systems, B2B partner programs, tiering mechanics, rebate/incentive computation engines, or cloud marketplaces.
  • Knowledge of service-oriented architecture, enterprise data contracts (LBOs), REST/gRPC API design, event-driven architectures, and leading technical design reviews with Staff Architects.
  • Ability to align goals and foster collaboration across geographically distributed teams (e.g., Bangalore, Sunnyvale, Seattle).
  • Ability to grow in matrixed enterprise environments, transforming ambiguity into structured execution plans.
  • Ability to evaluate trade-offs between partner requests versus scalable platform capabilities, prioritizing platform scale.
  • Ability to drive technical projects and system migrations to completion with high reliability and zero disruption.

The Partner Program Platform governs how partners onboard, achieve competency badges and specializations, maintain compliance, register agreements, and receive commercial incentives and rebates.

Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy, architecture, and multi-quarter roadmap for foundational engines, data models, and services powering partner tiering, incentives, competencies, and co-sell workflows.
  • Bridge Partner Strategy, GTM Operations, Finance, and Engineering—translating complex commercial policies into high-scale, low-latency platform capabilities, automated primitives, and APIs.
  • Partner with systems architects to define Logical Business Objects, event streams, and Google Remote Procedure Call (gRPC)/REST APIs connecting CRM (Salesforce), Cloud Marketplace, Billing, and Partner Hub.
  • Build the API infrastructure and foundational capabilities enabling self-service tools and internal agentic workflows (e.g., Partner Agent and sales copilots).
  • Ensure robust enterprise security (e.g., Zanzibar/CAMP access controls), multi-jurisdiction compliance, financial auditability, and fraud defenses. Define, monitor, and optimize platform reliability, latency, evaluation throughput, time-to-tier, and operational velocity metrics.
