Minimum qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or Dual degree program in Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • Experience in one or more of the following: architecting or developing distributed systems, concurrency, multi-threading, or synchronization.
  • Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python, JavaScript, Go, etc.).
  • Experience with data structures, algorithms, and software design.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Currently in your penultimate year of study.
  • Experience in architecture, artificial intelligence, compilers, database, data mining, distributed systems, machine learning, networking, or systems.
  • Experience in designing and implementing a complex system, for production or experimental use.
  • Experience with performance, reliability, systems data analysis, visualization tools, or debugging.
  • Excellent engineering skills.

Join us for a 10–12 week Summer Internship Program starting in May/June 2027. This program is designed to accelerate your personal and professional growth while building a lasting community. As a Software Engineering Intern, you will be a key player on a dynamic team, driving the development of AI-integrated software and high-performance applications. Your primary objective is to design, deploy, and maintain the end-to-end infrastructure that sustains our large-scale systems. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to Google’s core needs while evolving your technical expertise in a fast-paced, real-world environment.
