Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience working with digital advertising in a client-facing role (e.g., sales, advertising agencies, account management, etc.), business development, partnerships, or management consulting.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working with international markets, or managing relationships with multinational clients.
  • Experience building an international business, including developing and executing international expansion plans and working in multiple countries and cultures.
  • Experience using thought leadership to apply data-driven models that have had a tangible impact on marketing operations across international markets.
  • Demonstrated success in advertising sales, media account management, consulting, international marketing, or related field.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with a technical product aptitude and problem solving skills.

Google's line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.

International Growth Consultants act as international growth experts and trusted advisors to Google Customer Solutions (GCS) or Large Customer Sales (LCS) agencies and advertising clients. You’ll work alongside Google sales teams and Strategic Agency Managers to build strategic plans for agency growth, identifying their top international growth opportunities, providing insights and training programs, and accessing Google resources to help agencies scale the go-to-market plans for their clients' non-domestic footprints. Your core focus will be accelerating 15-20 agencies while innovating new strategies to help sellers scale.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

The Canada base salary range for this full-time position is CAD 124,000-127,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Responsibilities

  • Work on a dynamic international team helping Google's GCS agency partners accelerate their clients' investments in global markets. Enable agencies at scale, and build enablement programming around the digital advertising market.
  • Develop high-level relationships to serve as a trusted consultant to accelerate our partners’ International Growth objectives. Understand our customers’ objectives and help them achieve these by developing forward-thinking, data-driven export business recommendations.
  • Identify high-impact export opportunities within a portfolio based on existing frameworks and tools, and develop export growth narratives and approaches to drive export growth for your assigned portfolio of partners.
  • Partner with sales and cross-functional teams to manage support from expansion strategy to campaign execution.
  • Facilitate export acumen and resource growth within Google and assigned portfolio of partners through trainings and workshops, networking, acquisition events, etc.
