Data Analytics Sales Manager, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 12 years of experience in quota-carrying cloud or software sales, or consultative account management at a B2B software company.
  • Experience in leadership (e.g., people management, team lead, mentorship, coaching).
  • Experience engaging and building relationships with a wide range of internal teams and customer stakeholders.
  • Experience managing the full business cycle (e.g., pipeline management, forecasting, reporting) and managing commercial negotiations and agreements.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in selling data analytics software or solutions.
  • Experience supporting a team to expand existing accounts, secure new customers, and accelerate the consumption business.
  • Experience with organizational development and transformation, fostering consultative selling behaviors, aligning with sales leadership initiatives, and supporting teams on multi-year account strategies.
  • Experience in performance management and business cycles, coaching for high-performance, and ensuring delivery against goals.

As Sales Manager, you will be an integral part of the UK, Ireland and Sub-Saharan Africa Sales Management team. You will manage a high-performing team focused on helping new and existing customers transform their business with Google Agentic Data Cloud products and solutions. You will lead the team to meet and exceed challenging growth goals, bringing an effective operational approach to recruiting, coaching, and management.

In this role, you will utilize knowledge of leading a specialist organization and the sales strategies required to help prospective customers and partners understand how Google Cloud can enable their digital transformation.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and scale a regional team of data analytics, specialty sales leaders.
  • Lead Google Cloud teams to drive demand, and provide guidance to marketing and partnership organizations to develop campaigns and go-to-market plans. Develop strategies to accelerate the business cycle in a fast-paced environment.
  • Build and maintain relationships internally and externally to influence long-term strategic direction. Act as an advisor to the customer.
  • Recruit talent and coach the team with a focus on providing actionable, forthright feedback. Produce leadership for Google Cloud and develop a team that embodies customer empathy.
  • Create and drive innovative programs focused on achieving growth at Google scale. Meet with customers/prospects and participate directly in the key agreements and accounts.
