Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 12 years of experience in advertising sales, digital marketing, consulting or media.
  • 3 years of experience in people management.
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish and English fluently in order to communicate with stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Proven experience building trusted C-level relationships.
  • Deep industry knowledge in the Finance, Tech and Telco verticals.
  • Industry knowledge in Mexico.

The Finance, Tech, and Telco verticals are the primary growth drivers for Google LCS Mexico. The incoming leader will be tasked with continuing the transformation of this ecosystem. In this role, you will partner with traditional banks and FinTechs to accelerate the consumer shift from cash to digital payments, ultimately expanding access to broader financial services. Within Tech and Telco, the leader's primary objective will be to drive customer acquisition strategies, helping partners attract new users across mobile, home internet, and streaming platforms.

Google's Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams are strategic partners and industry thought leaders to the world's leading brands and agencies. We continuously challenge how customers think about their business and how Google can support growth. We focus on helping these players navigate profound industry shifts and drive outsized business performance by competitively selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, YouTube, Measurement, and more. As a member of our LCS team, you'll have the unique opportunity to sell at the forefront of technology, collaborating with executives, influencing market-shaping strategies, and delivering tangible results that significantly impact major global businesses and drive the growth of Google.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the core sales team and engage with cross-functional teams to deliver insights, innovative ideas, and customer service that drives business growth for our top Mexico clients and for Google.
  • Develop and foster C-Level relationships (e.g., CEOs, CMOs, Heads of E-commerce) across the portfolio, acting as a trusted advisor in their digital transformation.
  • Reach/surpass product adoption metrics to make sure that clients increase their digital maturity and their business results.
  • Partner with leaders of other teams to develop thought leadership around the Industry ecosystem, equipping teams across large customer sales to deliver excellent business growth and navigate industry shifts.
  • Attract, develop, and retain top talent in all roles across the team, fostering a culture of continuous learning, and deep expertise in the Finance, Tech and Telco verticals.
