Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, a related field or equivalent practical experience
  • 18 years of experience in technology and corporate engineering
  • 15 years of management experience in enterprise internal systems
  • Experience managing global cross-functional teams or projects, and influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders
  • International experience working and influencing across geographic and functional boundaries
  • Experience in a unified data management platform, master data management, data governance, and semantic data modeling.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working in a complex, global organization of large-scale in a regulated environment
  • Proven ability to operate and facilitate process transformation initiatives on enterprise-scale platforms
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences

As the Senior Director, Enterprise Data Platforms & Governance you are a technical and strategic leader responsible for anchoring the AI-ready data mission. You will transition the organization from a capability-centric model to a unified foundation focus that prioritizes a common enterprise data platform with data governance and AI-readiness. You will oversee a global organization of ~170 technologists to deliver the unified data foundation and enable the transition from systems of intelligence to unified systems of action (enable Agentic AI). You'll direct the planning and implementation of technology systems to drive value creation and support business operations, forging successful working relationships with cross-functional partners in a fast-paced environment.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $364000 - $510000 (USD) + 40% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Establish a unified enterprise data platform that serves as the single source of truth for various domains, ensuring data is connected, trusted, and discoverable. Drive AI-readiness for enterprise data through enterprise data governance initiatives and adopt a data mesh approach to managing data at scale through self-service capabilities.
  • Drive depth of platform maturity and rigorous enforcement of Corp Eng standards across multiple data domains. Achieve enterprise master data excellence.
  • Drive internal adoption of products and create a case study for external customers. Implement a ‘forward-deployment’ model to operationalize data governance and accelerate the adoption of the ‘enterprise data platform’.
  • Serve as creative and innovative technology leader. Build and maintain relationships with other senior executives to develop a clear understanding of business needs, and build and grow a high-performing global organization.
