Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of industry experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, business development, or digital marketing, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Ability to communicate in Japanese fluently to interact with internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in steering strategic agency partnerships and orchestrating multi-stakeholder, cross-functional project management.
  • Proven track record of navigating complex enterprise organizations, managing decision-making flows, and building long-term trust with C-suite stakeholders.
  • Strong aptitude for consultative selling, framing business challenges through data-driven strategies, and rapidly adopting emerging technologies (including AI and digital marketing solutions).
  • High ownership, operational accuracy, and a "bias for action" to translate sales strategy into measurable impact while mentoring and elevating team members.
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently to interact with internal and external stakeholders.

Google's Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams are strategic partners and industry thought leaders to the world's leading brands and agencies. We continuously challenge how customers think about their business and how Google can support growth. We focus on helping these players navigate profound industry shifts and drive outsized business performance by competitively selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, YouTube, Measurement, and more. As a member of our LCS team, you'll have the unique opportunity to sell at the forefront of technology, collaborating with executives, influencing market-shaping strategies, and delivering tangible results that significantly impact major global businesses and drive the growth of Google.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute high-impact sales strategies and Joint Business Plans (JBPs) for key telecom and finance clients, navigating ambiguous industry landscapes to deliver transformative solutions using Google's cutting-edge technologies (including AI and cross-channel platforms).
  • Establish and nurture trusted C-level relationships with primary decision-makers, serving as an industry thought partner to shape client strategy and cement Google’s market presence.
  • Oversee end-to-end project management across complex workstreams, aligning internal cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive, differentiated "OneGoogle" solutions that maximize client and business impact.
  • Synthesize and abstract key takeaways from both successes and setbacks, actively developing and sharing scalable insights, playbooks, and best practices to elevate collective knowledge.
  • Drive high-velocity execution and positive team momentum, demonstrating strong ownership and passion to inspire, mentor, and elevate the broader organization.
