Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience writing or reviewing exam content.
- Ability to communicate in English fluently to support client relationship management in this region.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience facilitating workshops and collaborating with technical subject matter experts to scope exam materials.
- Experience working in IT certification programs with exposure to performance-based testing solutions and psychometric processes.
- Experience managing certification projects, responding to exam security incidents, and managing stakeholders.
- Experience editing complex technical content for voice, style, and clarity across global programs.
- Experience utilizing AI or machine learning tools to optimize exam development workflows alongside familiarity with cloud computing.

Our certification exams validate skills for in-demand cloud roles and are used worldwide to support hiring and training.As a Certification Exam Manager, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the Google Cloud Certification exams. This includes working with groups of highly-skilled subject matter experts (SMEs) to create valid certification exams aligned to industry standards. You will utilize and enhance AI tools for exam development and workflows, while also focusing on the continuous improvement and efficiency of overall processes, including test security. You will have the ability to impact the quality and effectiveness of our certification offerings by applying industry best practices and innovating in the field of exam development.
US: $111000 - $160000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities
- Manage the exam development lifecycle, including blueprinting, item development, analysis, and ongoing maintenance, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
- Lead job task analysis, item development trainings, workshops, and technical reviews with highly-skilled technical subject matter experts (cloud architects, data engineers, developers).
- Monitor and enforce program policies, including responding to applicant inquiries and exam security incidents.
- Monitor industry innovations and best practices to continuously improve certification processes and offerings.
