Business Operations and Strategy Lead, Global Partnerships

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in a management consulting, sales operations, business strategy or corporate advisory role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or graduate degree.
  • Demonstrated track record of guiding organizations through technological change, specifically including experience advancing broader AI transformation goals.
  • Ability to work within a complex, matrixed organization to drive outcomes, demonstrating the agility to provide interim leadership on projects.
  • Exceptional people management and influencing skills, proven by successfully partnering with cross-functional teams to enable high-quality decisions and driving leadership consensus.
  • Advanced consulting skills, with the ability to distill ambiguous problems and complex organizational challenges into actionable strategic perspectives and high-impact deliverables for executives.

About the job

Partnerships Solutions (PS) is the Strategy and Operations team that works with Global Partnerships to build the world's best partnerships team and accelerate cross-Google agreement making. We unlock long-term business value to make and enable transformational partnerships plays. You will operate as an executive Strategy and Operations practitioner and a critical internal leader, seamlessly blending strategic consulting with operational excellence. Working closely with the executive leaders across Partnership Solutions and Global Partnerships (GP), you will act as a key advisor and executor. By developing deep insights into the dynamic GP and PS landscape, you will cut through complexity to facilitate crucial discussions and drive high-quality decisions forward. Leveraging this unique vantage point, you will ensure GP is positioned to succeed and advance its broader AI transformation goals.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $152000 - $222000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic partner to GP’s leadership team, orchestrating cross-functional initiatives, driving leadership consensus, and operationalizing our strategic roadmap.
  • Distill ambiguous problems and complex organizational challenges into actionable strategic perspectives, producing clear, high-impact deliverables that influence executive decision-making.
  • Direct an evolving portfolio of cross-functional projects, stepping in to provide interim leadership and ensure seamless execution across teams.
  • Design and execute impactful internal events that foster team and leadership connection, owning both the overarching content strategy and end-to-end program execution.
