Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in learning and development, instructional design, education, sales enablement, or learning delivery within a global or regional structure.
  • Experience working with technical stakeholders (e.g., product managers, engineers, technical program managers).
  • Experience using, managing, and training on learning management systems, authoring tools, and other learning and development (L&D) tools/technologies.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience using GenAI (Gemini, Notebook LM, AI Studio, agents) to script, research, and accelerate deliverables and processes.
  • Experience in project management, working with cross-functional stakeholder groups, and supporting change management initiatives.
  • Proficiency in HTML.
  • Knowledge of API and SCORM.
  • Knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design principles.

The Learning Innovation and Architecture (LIA) team is the “Research and Development Lab” within GBOedu. Our mission is to power the future of GBO by leading GBOedu’s innovation strategy, launching rapid learner-centric pilots, and landing scalable solutions. We drive initiatives related to learning design, skills architecture, proficiency and credentialing, and strategic partnerships with GBO Engineering to advance our learning tech stack.

In this role, you will serve as a key driver in aligning technology with innovative learning design standards. You will act as the primary liaison between Learning Specialists, Strat Operations, and GBO Engineering, ensuring that platform requirements across our learning tech stack (LMS, LCMS, authoring tools) meet evolving programmatic needs. You will also own the end-to-end user experience across our learning platforms -- ensuring clear connectivity between each surface that learners access. You will represent the needs of the Learning Specialist community while influencing the tech roadmap to provide the tools and support necessary for successful implementation. You will solve challenges and streamline processes to create efficient, scalable learning designs that deliver impactful experiences across Google.

The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $124000 - $178000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Partner with learning specialists to identify learning technology needs (LMS, LCMS, authoring, and other tools) and define business requirements for impactful solutions. Gather feedback on pilots/tests and conduct studies with engineering partners to inform tech roadmaps.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert on product capabilities and content creation tools for Learning Management System (LMS), Learning Content Management System (LCMS), and authoring tools (currently Docebo, Xyleme Syndicate, and Xyleme Create).
  • Iterate and refine standards and technical configurations across learning platforms, such as authoring templates and Docebo content hierarchies. Ensure alignment between design standards and technical configurations.
  • Develop and lead communication, training, and change management strategies to support the adoption and usage of existing and new learning technologies.
  • Develop strategies and processes to accelerate the content design and development process (e.g., agents, templates, standardized workflows).
