As a Software Engineer, Tools and Infrastructure, you will be at the heart of Google’s engineering process building software that empowers engineering teams to develop and deliver high quality products quickly. We ensure Google's success by partnering with engineering teams and developing scalable tools and infrastructure that help engineers develop, test, debug and release software quickly. We are advocates for code health, testability, maintainability and best practices for development and testing.

The Calendar Backend Serving team is responsible for Calendar's synchronous backend serving stack, focusing on real-time request and response handling. This includes managing the data model, Spanner storage, low-level business logic, and ensuring reliability, low latency, and data consistency. The team develops and maintains critical internal and external APIs, such as CoreAPI, Rosy, and CalDav, as well as the integration into the workspace agentic search stack.The Google Cloud AI Research team addresses AI challenges motivated by Google Cloud’s mission of bringing AI to tech, healthcare, finance, retail and many other industries. We work on a range of unique problems focused on research topics that maximize scientific and real-world impact, aiming to push the state-of-the-art in AI and share findings with the broader research community. We also collaborate with product teams to bring innovations to real-world impact that benefits our customers.
