Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with software development in Python.
- 2 years of experience working with embedded operating systems.
- Experience in digital signal processing (DSP) algorithm development, implementation, and optimization.
- Experience in analyzing large-scale datasets using database queries and scripting languages (e.g., SQL, Python, or R).
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in distributed Machine Learning and Machine Learning infrastructure, distributed systems and with Machine Learning algorithms at scale.
- Proficient in C/C++ with experience in developing and implementing firmware and DSP algorithms on SOCs.

We bring together the best of Google technologies and AI, health behavior science, and user-centered design to help users organize the health and wellness data, get insight from it, and take action toward their health goals. We do this with a suite of apps, services, and health wearables. We aim to make consumer health more personal, proactive, and actionable.
US: $147000 - $210000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities
- Develop signal processing algorithms or firmware for health sensors.
- Enhance signal processing and ML algorithms in order to filter noise and ensure accurate, efficient processing of data.
- Collaborate with hardware engineering to ensure that firmware and algorithms are seamlessly integrated with the hardware architecture.
- Design, develop, implement, and test software components that allow real-time signal processing and filtering, noise reduction, as well as data processing.
