About the job

A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

We connect the world to Google, including services like Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Search, and YouTube. This position requires a highly credible thought leader with deep subject matter expertise and a comprehensive background in program management, networking solutions, distributed architecture, and software engineering.

In this role entails collaborating with Google Networking Technologies (GNT) engineering teams to formulate and articulate a long-term strategic vision, develop comprehensive roadmaps, engage cross-functional teams, and establish the development cadence for software systems and networking infrastructure. You will initiate new programs and be the catalyst for gaining support and driving them through completion. You will design and launch new processes, institute process improvements, and help program teams scale. And in doing so, you will improve Google’s ability to deliver network capacity on-time, with high availability and achieve maximum efficiency.
