Product Lead, YouTube Ecosystem

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience translating user and business needs into technical solution delivery including data architectures, infrastructure, ETL/ ELT, reporting/analytic tools, web application development, and Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) development.
  • Experience managing product roadmaps, such as prioritization frameworks, jobs frameworks, empathy maps, product canvas, etc.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience managing internal or external partners or customers.
  • 3 years of experience in solution engineering or architecture.
  • Experience working with Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) teams or products (including Google and third-party applications).
  • Experience managing product roadmaps, such as prioritization frameworks, jobs frameworks, empathy maps, product canvas, etc.

About the job

As a Technical Solutions Consultant, you will be responsible for the technical relationship of our largest advertising clients and/or product partners. You will lead cross-functional teams in Engineering, Sales and Product Management to leverage emerging technologies for our external clients/partners. From concept design and testing to data analysis and support, you will oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's online advertising platforms and/or product partnerships.

You will be able to balance business and partner needs with technical constraints, develop innovative, cutting edge solutions and act as a partner and consultant to those you are working with. You will also be able to build tools and automate products, oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's partnerships, as well as develop product strategy and prioritize projects and resources.

As part of the YouTube Ecosystem team, we own the tools and systems that support the global community YouTube consumers and creators, with ideas to connect everyone to effortless help, education, and insights.

Responsibilities

  • Define and prioritize the product backlog based on business value and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into user stories, transparently communicating progress along delivery.
  • Lead sprint planning, review, and retrospective meetings. Ensure the development team understands the product ideas and goals. Accept or reject completed work based on acceptance criteria.
  • Maintain clear communication with stakeholders throughout the development process. Monitor and analyze product performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Execute releases successfully by working with stakeholders to provide comprehensive documentation, training, troubleshooting, and support. Design roadmap of upcoming work to meet business strategic goals and outcomes.
