Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
- 2 years of experience with front-end and user interface development.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Experience developing accessible technologies.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform or other cloud environments.
- Experience with performance optimization of web applications.
- Experience with the use of AI tools for coding assistance.

The Google Cloud AI Research team addresses AI challenges motivated by Google Cloud’s mission of bringing AI to tech, healthcare, finance, retail and many other industries. We work on a range of unique problems focused on research topics that maximize scientific and real-world impact, aiming to push the state-of-the-art in AI and share findings with the broader research community. We also collaborate with product teams to bring innovations to real-world impact that benefits our customers. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.US: $147000 - $211000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test UI pages, components, and services for Agent Studio using Angular, TypeScript, and Reactive Extensions for JavaScript (RxJS).
- Collaborate with User Experience (UX) designers and Product Managers (PMs) on feature design, providing technical feedback on feasibility and implementation approaches.
- Implement scalable, reliable, and performant UI solutions while writing comprehensive unit and integration tests.
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and performance issues.
- Participate actively in design and code reviews to ensure high-quality standards.
