Senior Financial Analyst, Technical Infrastructure

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function, or an advanced degree.
  • Experience executing full-cycle FP&A functions including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and modeling within a multinational company setting.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Leadership experience with complex strategic and operational initiatives, across multiple products, functions, and geographies.
  • Experience in developing strategies in changing engaged environments, impeccable business judgment for resource allocation decisions to achieve the desired business outcome.
  • Ability to work with data to produce analysis, influencing decision making with numerical analysis and generating insights.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with a wide variety of departments.
  • Excellent financial modeling skills and familiarity with SQL.

US: $141000 - $206000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Partner with multiple stakeholders across Technical Infrastructure, engineers, negotiators, controllership and Google product/service teams to deliver on efficient scaling of Google’s research and development (R&D) networking, ML, and labs business units.
  • Develop and analyze end-to-end financial models to support strategic initiatives and improve on forecasting methodologies and frameworks.
  • Lead monthly finance reviews of financial trends to executive audiences.
  • Drive projects to help the business with decision making and improving efficiency in networking, ML, and labs spend.
  • Model lab business cases related to future build outs and capacity.
