Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA).
- 4 years of experience in accounting or a related function, or 3 years with an advanced degree in accounting, business, or finance.
- Experience supporting inventory, supply chain or related accounting areas.
Preferred qualifications:
- MBA or MSA degree.
- Experience in supply chain, inventory accounting.
- Experience in Big 4 public accounting as well as in an operational accounting role.
- Knowledge of U.S. generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional, fast-paced environment and to drive complex operational initiatives process improvements.
- Excellent investigative skills and ability to communicate effectively with executive management.

As a member of this team, you will know your accounting principles and the full accounting process end-to-end. You will look for ways to help our team get better at what we do, in the most efficient way possible.
You will collaborate cross-finance and cross-functionally to manage best practices for your areas. You will move fast while keeping your attention to detail, and your problem-solving skills to support Google's business objectives.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $105000 - $152000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities
- Maintain accountability for accuracy, timeliness and efficiency of accounting processes related to assigned areas, including inventory, supply chain and reverse logistics. Develop significant estimates and reserves, initiate and maintain accounting policies and memos, perform month-end close activities and balance sheet reconciliations, etc.
- Partner closely across finance as well as operations and the business to support new or ongoing supply chain initiatives, improve process efficiencies/scalability for continued operational excellence.
- Support system launches and migrations. Participate in system design and testing. Identify and implement opportunities to centralize, eliminate, automate, or external activities.
- Develop and execute ongoing, end-to-end, controllership processes, policies, and controls for Cost of sales and inventory controllership.
