Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of sales experience within the smartphone/consumer electronics B2B space.
  • Experience working in a distributed cross-functional team both internally and externally.
  • Experience leading and managing partnerships and partner relationships.
  • Ability to communicate in English and French fluently to support local stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in relationship management working towards strategic business goals.
  • Experience in sales management, business development or partner management in smartphone business, ideally in the reseller and system integrator space.
  • Technical knowledge of mobile devices and the related B2B hardware, software and services ecosystem.
  • Ability to interpret legal documents and work with lawyers to complete agreements.
  • Ability to qualify leads from customer relationship management (CRM) and digital campaigns, conferences, references and trade shows.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and manage at both a strategic executive and operational level within a changing sales environment.

About the job

The Devices and Services Business Organization team was formed with the purpose of bringing the best of Google’s software and hardware to our users by bringing to market and distributing a Google-branded hardware portfolio. The team is responsible for managing all partnerships with carriers, retailers and resellers worldwide. This includes the partnerships for product lines such as Pixel, Nest and Fitbit.

The French Devices and Services Business Organization team focuses on Google-branded hardware across product categories. Our team is responsible for managing partnerships with our top retailers, carrier partners as well as resellers and enterprise clients, including developing channel strategy, negotiating commercial terms, marketing and merchandising, and overall market share goals. We partner cross-functionally with marketing, product and engineering, finance, legal, supply management and retail marketing teams internally, and with our partner counterparts across these disciplines.

As a Strategic Partner Development Manager for B2B within the Devices and Services Business Organization, you will build strong partnerships with key resellers and system integrators as well as directly generate leads and drive sales with small and medium businesses, mid market and large accounts. You will develop the business strategy and tactics to drive new and repeat sales based on outgoing and incoming sales leads.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

France: €126000 - €129000 (EUR) + 53.85% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Research, map, develop and manage business opportunities (new and existing) with small and medium business accounts, mid market and large accounts.
  • Develop strong relationships with relevant resellers, system integrators and solution providers.
  • Sell products and services, and provide alternative solutions to exceed customer expectations, prepare quotes, follow up on orders, and solve client-related problems; Follow up after sale to achieve referrals, and grow business.
  • Meet assigned sales and business targets; Track and reports accurate forecasting on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
  • Forecast and report key metrics, track actual progress toward forecasts, drive and evaluate business growth of business opportunities. Build long-term relationships to help realize and optimize value from partnerships.
