Senior Technical Program Manager, Manufacturing Engineering, Pixel Watch

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in technical program management and manufacturing engineering.
  • Experience leading the specification, development, and implementation of manufacturing fixtures, equipment, and process flows.
  • Experience collaborating with design teams early in the hardware lifecycle to ensure design for manufacturing principles are properly incorporated into product architectures.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in mechanical, manufacturing, or industrial engineering.
  • Experience with high-volume, high-precision consumer electronics fluency with NX or other CAD tools, DOE, GRR, tolerance analysis, and statistical analysis.
  • Experience with design for manufacturing methodologies in areas including but not limited to manual and semi automated precision electronic assembly, sealing, adhesives, metal fabrication and finishing, injection molding, and leak testing.
  • Experience with flexible, scalable line design and balancing.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $163000 - $237000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Influence product definition and architecture selection, in close collaboration with product design teams, via early design for manufacturing engagement.
  • Develop manufacturing processes and fixtures, in close collaboration with manufacturing partners and equipment providers, via specification, design, prototyping, fabrication, and validation of manufacturing methods and equipment.
  • Improve manufacturing efficiency, flexibility, and scalability via analysis, simulation, and planning of work flow, space requirements, production capacity, and equipment layout.
  • Identify, investigate, analyze, and integrate new manufacturing processes, technologies, and equipment.
  • Manage cross-functional programs with global teams and contract manufacturing partners to ensure factory readiness and successful product delivery.
