About the job

Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.

The APAC Platforms and Devices (P&D) Marketing team connects users and developers across Asia-Pacific with Google's foundational ecosystems, including Google Play. Our team designs regional marketing narratives, scales growth frameworks, and engineers the high-impact measurement systems to convert product potential into bottom line impact.

In this role based in Singapore, you will drive Google Play’s regional growth across our multiplatform expansion capturing the PC gaming audience via Google Play Games and our evergreen social playbook to scale engagement with the gaming community, with a focus on Japan, Korea and Taiwan. This is a role for a self-sustaining, highly investigative marketer who views data not just as a tracking mechanism, but as a strategic compass.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct deep-dives into regional market trends, engaged landscapes, and multiplatform gaming dynamics. Translate complex data into high-impact, actionable insights that shape Google Play’s regional product roadmap and marketing engines.
  • Design and scale a regional evergreen social playbook for local deployment. Set the strategic direction for content engines, community engagement benchmarks, and social listening frameworks, ensuring a culturally relevant, consistent brand presence that secures long-term brand.
  • Serve as a key regional marketing liaison, partnering closely with global and local marketing teams, product managers, partnership managers and external agencies to unify regional execution.
  • Drive the Objectives and Key Result (OKR) framework and learnings agendas for multiplatform and social initiatives. Measure campaign impact on Google Play’s bottom line, isolating data-driven optimizations to maximize budget and conversion efficiency.
