Minimum qualifications:

- 6 years of experience in product design or UX.

Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in product design or UX.
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams of designers, researchers, engineers, content strategists and product managers.
- Experience designing end-to-end features and shepherding that work through the full lifecycle of design from kickoff through implementation.
- Experience designing for native mobile consumer applications including across a variety of device types.

Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of our users, relevant technologies, and our broader market.
- Work alongside a more junior designer to influence high-level design direction, organize stakeholder worksessions, and provide mentorship.
- Create storyboards, wireframes, high-fidelity designs, and interactive prototypes to guide design and development and present and explain the rationale behind your designs showing thoughtful attention to data, a clear approach to design storytelling, and an eagerness to receive feedback.
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback, peer feedback, tech constraints, and market dynamics.
- Support and guide the front-end engineering team to faithfully implement design and direction, adhering to Google’s product excellence principles.
