Measurement and Analytics Lead

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in media analytics, advertising sales, digital media and marketing, consulting, or financial analysis.
  • Experience working with partners to identify technical challenges and opportunities, and selling AdTech/MarTech solutions.

  • Experience quantifying return on investment (ROI) for advertising spend using: experimental methods (e.g., A/B testing, Geo experiments, User lift experiments), or advanced attribution (e.g., SKAN, MTA), or statistical methods (e.g., Causal Inference, MMM, Statistical MTA).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in quantitative field like Data Analytics, Economics or an MBA with a focus on quantitative methods.
  • Experience in consulting directly with clients, advising on impact of advertising on business outcomes, and building collaborative partnerships with external measurement vendors to align stakeholders and advocate for optimal solutions.
  • Experience in 1PD strategies, customer data infrastructures, and Google’s measurement ecosystem—including Google Analytics, Google Ads, tagging systems (gTag, GTM, server-side GTM), and APIs (e.g., Data Manager API).
  • Understanding of brand and performance measurement frameworks, with experience executing marketing experiments, incrementality testing, causal impact, Media Mix Modeling (MMM), and Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA).
  • Knowledge of online (Search, Display, Video/CTV) and offline (TV, OOH) advertising channels, brand analysis techniques, and the application of modern AI-powered marketing tools.

Responsibilities

  • Client Engagement: Build strong relationships with key client stakeholders, understanding their business objectives and measurement needs.
  • Strategic Measurement Planning: Develop, own, and execute comprehensive joint measurement plans for advertisers and agencies, integrating data foundations, incrementality experiments, Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM), full-funnel measurement, and attribution frameworks to prove media value.
  • Consultative Advising & Executive Partnership: Act as a trusted technical advisor to senior analytics, finance, and marketing decision-makers; challenge the status quo, build executive partnerships, and deliver compelling data stories that influence business decisions.
  • Commercial Growth & Product Adoption: Lead the business cycle for prioritized data and measurement opportunities across Google Ads and Google Marketing Platform (GMP) products, driving feature adoption, scaling AI innovation, and accelerating business growth.
  • Data Foundations and first-party data (1PD) (1PD) Infrastructure: Understand and pitch privacy-durable data foundations for clients by driving the implementation of Google’s tagging infrastructure (gTag, GTM, server-side GTM) and advanced 1PD solutions (Data Manager API, Google Cloud integrations) to ensure resilient signal capture.
