Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking.
  • 4 years of experience in business development, partnerships, partner acquisitions, or sales.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Experience managing a partner pipeline, negotiations, and delivering project solutions.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing complex partnerships.
  • Experience working autonomously in a dynamic, ever-changing, and collaborative environment.
  • Experience in the Media/Creator industry within the Indian market and the ability to navigate and influence complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Ability to identify potential business opportunities, assess financial/business benefit, structure agreements, and discuss terms with partners.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with experience using data to drive business decisions and enhance the processes along with the ability to prioritize effectively and manage ambiguity in a fluid environment.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.

About the job

As a Partner Acquisitions Manager, you will act as the main Acquisitions Point of Contact in India. You are responsible for identifying, pursuing, and acquiring new strategic partners to drive growth for Google's ecosystem. You will independently build and own partner acquisition plans, execute complex negotiations, and drive projects end-to-end. Beyond individual Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), you will be contributing to process improvements with regional impact and support other team members to nurture expertise and collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Build, own, and execute acquisition plans and pipelines of high-potential partners within assigned verticals in India.
  • Lead the agreement negotiations, partner onboarding, and launch processes. Identify key internal stakeholders (Legal, Finance, Product, Marketing) and build networks to drive cross-project collaboration and facilitate alignment on acquisition priorities.
  • Identify patterns or blockers across acquisition projects, anticipate issues, and propose data-driven solutions or process optimizations.
  • Research and synthesize industry intelligence and local market trends in India to communicate insights that inform regional strategy.
  • Serve as a dependable teammate by sharing knowledge and offering guidance to other team members.
