Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in a technical program management, product operations, or a similar cross-functional role bridging business users and engineering teams.
  • Experience building functional prototypes, workflows, or AI agents using low-code/no-code platforms, API integrations, or application development tools.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in technical program management, or building technical tools.
  • Experience identifying user pain points and prototyping AI solutions using Gemini Enterprise and rapid development frameworks like anti-gravity.
  • Expertise with regular use of LLMs, prompt engineering, and structuring database queries (SQL) to inform product requirements.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, prioritization, and communication skills.

As Product Operations Manager, AI and Analytics on Google's Global Communications and Public Affairs (GCPA) Strategy and Operations team, you will design, prototype, and deploy AI solutions that empower our teams. Your work will focus on providing AI-powered assistance directly to communications managers and translating complex operational needs into highly functional tools.

In this role, you will ensure GCPA makes the most of AI and innovative technologies in a shifting communications landscape. You will focus on identifying the needs of our communications managers, prioritizing features, and building rapid prototypes using Gemini Enterprise and anti-gravity. This role requires a strong technical background to effectively bridge the gap between business needs and deep technical execution, ensuring rapid prototypes are built with engineering scalability in mind. You will partner closely with engineering teams to scale your prototypes into robust internal products. In a dynamic, entrepreneurial team, you will be adaptable, intellectually curious, and capable of managing complex projects in a fast-paced environment.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $148000 - $216000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Identify the daily operational and strategic needs of communications managers, prioritizing features to build a roadmap of high-impact AI tools and products.
  • Act as the primary bridge between non-technical communications stakeholders and core engineering partners, translating business requirements into clear technical specifications, user journeys, and functional logic.
  • Build and rapidly prototype custom AI-powered solutions and agents using Gemini Enterprise and anti-gravity to validate use cases before handing them off to engineering for scaling.
  • Manage the lifecycle of AI features within internal tools, from requirement gathering and initial prototyping to final deployment, user acceptance testing (UAT), and training.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on utilizing Gemini Enterprise and anti-gravity to optimize communications workflows and drive platform adoption.
