Executive Office Strategy and Operations Lead, YouTube Business

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in a management consulting, sales operations, business strategy or corporate advisory role.
  • 4 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA, graduate degree, or equivalent practical experience in a technical, quantitative, or business field.
  • 2 years of experience creating complex data sets, data modeling, and reporting.
  • Experience using SQL or data analytics tools deliver insights and recommendations.
  • Experience with strategic and operational projects, cross-functional stakeholder management and project management, including the ability to work autonomously and keep multiple priorities moving at the same time.
  • Highly collaborative, who is comfortable navigating ambiguity.

About the job

As a central strategic partner bridging YouTube’s Go-to-Market Operations (GTMO) and the broader business organization, you will drive the operational cadence and executive alignment for our most critical business initiatives. In this highly visible role, you will orchestrate key leadership moments, including BizStaff Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and GTMO content reviews, ensuring our narrative and strategy are seamlessly integrated at the SVP level. Beyond managing the day-to-day rhythm of the business, you will serve as a versatile problem-solver leading urgent "fly-in" special projects, while simultaneously partnering with leadership to shape long-term organizational design and people planning. You will have an opportunity for an agile, executive-facing leader who works at translating complex strategies into flawless execution and organizational momentum.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $152000 - $222000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Direct the strategic preparation for high-visibility leadership moments, including BizStaff QBRs and executive forums, ensuring materials and messaging are seamlessly aligned.
  • Architect and lead the GTMO content review cadence. Drive comprehensive pre-reviews and facilitate executive sessions to guarantee all deliverables are sharp, actionable, and ready for SVP-level visibility.
  • Advocate critical "fly-in" initiatives and ad-hoc task forces. Act as the primary operational bridge between organizations to quickly mobilize resources and solve emergent business challenges.
  • Oversee business-critical organization design and people plans. Partner directly with leadership to structure upcoming re-organizations, ensuring the talent model scales effectively to meet GTMO objectives.
