YouTube Training Lead

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience with content management strategies.
  • 3 years of experience managing and deploying training programs to third-party partners.
  • 3 years of experience managing and delivering cross-functional projects within an organization.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience leveraging emerging technologies to develop innovative, engaging, and highly relevant training materials.
  • Experience working in or designing learning programs specifically for the creator or consumer space.
  • Experience in instructional design, specifically building and scaling learning experiences for vendors.
  • Experience in stakeholder management, with a track record of partnering with cross-functional teams to align training strategies with business goals.

The YouTube Global Vendor Ops team develops practical and innovative ways to address some of the most complex business challenges to keep YouTube thriving. We anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of our key clients, and understand how the range of product and service offerings can enable their business success.

We lead the global vendor quality program which enables the suppliers to deliver amazing experiences for YouTube’s consumers, creators and partners.

In this role, you will drive vendor excellence and operational efficiency by delivering scalable, AI-powered training programs. Key deliverables include end-to-end instructional design strategies, interactive vendor learning modules, stakeholder alignment plans, and process optimization strategies for global training deployment.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $111000 - $159000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable, engaging learning experiences and comprehensive instructional frameworks tailored for our vendor partners.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to assess training needs and align learning strategies with key business outcomes.
  • Advocate an AI-first way of working by actively integrating innovative technologies and AI tools into the instructional design and training delivery processes.
  • Optimize training operations, streamline workflows, and continuously improve the efficiency of vendor learning programs.
  • Leverage your experience in the creator or consumer space to ensure training content is highly relevant, empathetic, and tailored to the nuances of our user ecosystem.
