Analytics Lead I, Large Customer Sales

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in media analytics, advertising sales, digital media and marketing, consulting, or financial analysis.
  • Experience with measurement techniques, including A/B Testing, Causal Inference, Randomized Controlled Trials (RCTs), Geo experiments, Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM), or Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA).
  • Experience in data querying and analysis using SQL, Python, or R.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 1 year of experience with marketing measurement and attribution techniques (e.g., offline measurement, MMM, MTA, attribution) and Google advertising products (e.g., Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Marketing Platform, etc).
  • 1 year of client-facing experience, with the ability to influence across levels.
  • Knowledge of SQL, databases, and basic automation techniques (e.g., dashboards, automating custom reports, materializing tables).
  • Ability to analyze large datasets and distill them into insights that are presented in a logical and engaging story.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deliver simple and engaging stories to audiences of all levels.

As an Analytics Lead at Google, you are the bridge between data-driven insights and business-changing decisions. Our Large Customer Sales teams work with the world's most sophisticated advertisers to help them grow their businesses through the power of Google Ads.

In this role, you will be a strategic consultant, helping our advertisers navigate the complex landscape of digital measurement. You will work with high-level stakeholders to implement data signals to improve ads return-on-investment, design the experiments, implement advanced modeling, and ultimately prove the value of advertising spend. You are a storyteller who uses statistics as your language to influence the future of the advertising industry.

Google's Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams are strategic partners and industry thought leaders to the world's leading brands and agencies. We continuously challenge how customers think about their business and how Google can support growth. We focus on helping these players navigate profound industry shifts and drive outsized business performance by competitively selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, YouTube, Measurement, and more. As a member of our LCS team, you'll have the unique opportunity to sell at the forefront of technology, collaborating with executives, influencing market-shaping strategies, and delivering tangible results that significantly impact major global businesses and drive the growth of Google.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Google Sales teams to manage strategic relationships with enterprise clients through measurement and ‘learning agendas’ that improve business outcomes.
  • Manage a complex ecosystem of client relationships, across agencies, brands, and internal functions to drive adoption of Google’s measurement objectives.
  • Design and execute in-depth custom analyses and ad-effectiveness studies to quantify the impact of marketing strategies across platforms and media.
  • Collaborate with Product and Research and Development (R&D) teams to identify features for the next generation of Google tools. Lead client pilots for alpha and beta products by evidencing their effectiveness.
  • Educate the industry on Google’s measurement strategy. Author White Papers on developments in Direct Response (DR) and performance marketing techniques. Distill complex technical findings into actionable insights for audiences ranging from data scientists to C-suite executives.
