  • Experience in forecasting, planning, supply chain, materials management and implementing process improvements.

  • Experience in automation and process improvements.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in supply chain, materials NPI and inventory management.
  • Experience with spreadsheets, SQL and scripting.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across multiple levels of the organization.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

As a Supply and Material Planning Program Manager, you will take ownership of material supply, procurement, and inventory management for critical data center products. You will drive strategic planning decisions that help customers achieve their goals while optimizing inventory health.

Working cross-functionally with New Product Introduction (NPI), Demand Planning, Engineering, Purchasing, and Contract Manufacturing, you will guide material strategies from end-to-end. Your analytical expertise will be crucial in establishing metrics, driving system improvements, and scaling our processes, directly fueling the rapid expansion of Google's global data center infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a supply plan that positions materials to meet varied demand scenarios, from New Product Introduction to sustaining phases, while aligning with the business's objectives.
  • Develop and justify inventory buffer strategies that improve cost and flexibility.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to procure materials and ensure availability to fulfill customer needs.
  • Drive cross-functional projects to implement new capabilities and improve existing ones across the organization.
