Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in consumer marketing (e.g., partner marketing).
  • Experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects from strategy to execution.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in the consumer electronics, smart TV, or streaming entertainment category.
  • Proven experience working with key partners to develop and execute joint marketing campaigns, and ultimately drive business outcomes.
  • Experience crafting marketing strategies using quantitative and qualitative insights to effectively recommend marketing programs that deliver win-win outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively present information and manage relationships with various audiences externally and internally.
  • Strong project management skills with ability to manage simultaneous complex projects across multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent strategic thinking with investigative accuracy, comfortable navigating ambiguity, balancing priorities, and driving results in a fast-moving environment.

About the job

As a Partner Marketing Manager for Google TV, you’ll play a critical role in growing the Google TV ecosystem by leading marketing strategy and initiatives with global OEM partners. The marketing programs you drive scale and inspire consumers to embrace the future of television.

In this role, you will be at the heart of a small, dynamic team, offering a unique opportunity to gain experience across a range of marketing disciplines, while overseeing partner marketing and co-marketing activity to support Google TV’s business. As a Partner Marketer, you’ll manage the relationships with Global Tier 1 OEM partners, designing and executing jointly funded co-marketing strategies, and creating go-to-market plans that fuel the growth of the Google TV platform. You will work with a cross-functional team across Business Development, Product Management, Product Marketing, PR, Legal, and more to drive end-to-end strategy.

You will need to have strong business strategy as well as business acumen, and exceptional people skills with the ability to communicate and work collaboratively and cross-functionally with Googlers and partners at all levels.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $117,000-$167,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Drive co-marketing partnerships with leading Google TV partners, integrating their most important campaigns and roadmap moments into Google TV’s strategy, and driving measurable business growth and brand value for the business and our partners.
  • Lead jointly funded co-marketing programs, overseeing and contributing to partner’s creative strategy, development, asset reviews, and campaign reporting.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with business development, product, finance, brand, and more to align priorities and drive marketing programs that deliver high impact results.
  • Build deep, long-term relationships with top OEMs and other third-party hardware partners to deliver measurable growth through partners.
  • Dive into campaign performance and user insights. Use data to identify opportunities, optimize strategies, and directly influence our biggest marketing moments.
