Senior Product Manager, Gemini Cloud Assist

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc).
  • Experience identifying and implementing access controls, governance, and policy management for enterprise platforms or APIs.
  • Experience with modern AI developer frameworks (e.g., LangChain, AutoGen, LlamaIndex, or Model Context Protocol) and building AI agents.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MS or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or related technical field.
  • 5 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders.
  • 4 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to senior leadership.
  • Experience defining a multi-year product vision and strategy and translating it into a concrete, actionable roadmap.
  • Experience influencing cross-functional teams and senior leadership without direct authority.
  • Experience building products for highly technical users.

Join the Agent Cloud team to lead the product strategy for our Agent Platform and Agent Registry. You will build the most critical component for enterprise AI governance, a robust platform that enables admins and developers to securely discover, manage, and audit agents, tools, and skills at scale. Our mission is to transform cloud into the best place in the industry to build agentic applications. You will help build the foundational platform that empowers enterprises to securely build, deploy, and govern autonomous AI agents at scale. We are developing a robust platform that provides the memory, tool orchestration, and strict governance frameworks, such as agent identity, secure gateways, and robust guardrails, necessary for AI to safely execute real-world workflows.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $192000 - $279000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Lead the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Agent Registry within the enterprise Agent Platform, focusing on enabling seamless discovery, governance, and lifecycle management for autonomous AI agents across the organization.
  • Build detailed requirements and data models / user guides to drive the agent registration workflows, discoverability features, and compliance guardrails, in collaboration with engineering in Cloud Foundations and Cloud AI teams.
  • Synthesize user needs and pain points of agent developers and admins to drive product development.
  • Translate enterprise needs into detailed product specifications and use cases, specifically focusing on agent registry, identity, centralized cataloging, access controls, and auditing features.
  • Track emerging technologies and trends, particularly in the areas of autonomous AI orchestration, enterprise AI governance, and platform security.
