Business Analyst, Devices and Services Partnerships, DACH

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Math, Quantitative Science, Business or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1 year of experience working in data analytics, consulting, data science, engineering, or a technical operations role.
  • 1 year of experience in statistical problem solving and analyzing data sets using SQL or comparable coding language (e.g. Python, R, Java, C++).
  • Ability to communicate in German and English fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business, etc.).
  • Experience in experimenting with and deploying agentic AI tools such as Antigravit, Claude Cowork, etc.
  • Ability to influence and communicate cross-functionally at all levels of management with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, and ability to handle complex, concurrent subjects and changing priorities to meet business imperatives.
  • Proven success in solving problems in complex, fast-moving, and ambiguous business environments through solid data intuition and business acumen.
  • Track record of deriving actionable commercial insights through advanced data analysis and presentation for executive stakeholders.

As part of this team you fully immerse yourself in data collection, draw insight from analysis, and then zoom out to develop compelling, synthesized recommendations. Taking strategy one step further, you also persuasively communicate your recommendations to senior-level executives, roll-up your sleeves to help drive implementation and check back-in to see the impact of your recommendations.

As a Business Analyst within Devices & Services Partnerships, you are at the core of the business intelligence driving the DACH Pixel and Fitbit business. Your mission is to transfer the best of Google’s insights & AI into the team's most critical processes, ensuring we remain at the forefront of operational excellence. Closely partnering with the DACH General Manager, EMEA business functions, and Strategic Partner Managers, you will serve as a vital link between data and strategy.

In this role, you will not only utilize advanced analytics but also shape the development of AI-powered tools that support high-stakes business decisions. You will act as the backbone of our business intelligence, identifying opportunities to automate workflows and derive market insights. Your work will shape how we invest with partners, influencing go-to-market strategies and providing the analytical backbone for partner negotiations.

You will be a key business contact, collaborating cross-functionally to prepare executive business reviews, manage complex budget planning, and drive executions designed to scale the business and improve the sales lifecycle of Google hardware through data-driven insights.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Germany: €78000 - €80000 (EUR) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Lead yearly and quarterly Pixel commercial planning for strategic markets. Develop channel strategies delivery mixes to capture market share and define business outcomes.
  • Manage a budget, maximizing promotional efficiency and ROI. Use AI tools for financial tracking and reporting against KPIs while adhering to regional and global guardrails.
  • Analyze the German smartphone market to develop trend-tracking tools. Integrate systems to derive actionable insights for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work cross-functionally to align initiatives with financial tenets. Support partner managers with promotional calendars and analysis to facilitate strategic negotiations.
  • Deliver data-driven visualizations for leadership. Manage DACH tooling infrastructure, focusing on improving performance analysis through Google’s latest AI technologies to drive decisions.
