Head of Regional Sales Programs and Infrastructure, APAC RSO

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in a management consulting, sales operations, business strategy or corporate advisory role.
  • 5 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.
  • Experience managing teams.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Knowledge of Google’s Ads products, sales teams, or service operations as well as the customer and competitive contexts in which they operate.
  • Ability to effectively operate with flexibility in a fast-paced, high energy, constantly evolving, team environment.
  • Ability to effectively influence, communicate and drive change with multiple stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and structured problem solving skills: building hypotheses, conducting data analysis, uncovering insights, building and executing recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation development skills with the ability to take ambiguous topics and turn them into stories that influence an audience.

About the job

As the Head of Regional Sales Programs and Infrastructure, you will lead a team of Regional Program Managers (RPMs) and Regional Product Leads (RPLs) supporting the APAC GCS Sales business, and be responsible for shaping, launching, and landing key sales program and sales tools/workflow changes in-region. You work with global program leadership and other cross-functional partners (product partners, sales finance, service providers) to shape, prioritize and commercialize initiatives with sales teams, ultimately benefiting our midmarket and scaled customers and unlocking billions in incremental business.

As such, you will be a systems thinker who is able to influence groups of Directors and VPs, while also ensuring operational excellence across multiple sales teams to launch and land change at scale and drive measurable business results. You will provide trusted, holistic feedback and analytical insights from your region to influence the central strategy and roadmap. In this role, you will identify opportunities for future growth and then create and implement plans to achieve these goals, working closely with sales and cross-functional leaders. You use your regional expertise to lead deployment of program/product launches and sales pilots in-market, and represent the region on what’s working and what’s not.

You should be an indvidual that can "crunch the numbers", partner with senior stakeholders to think through strategic issues, and communicate effectively with global teams to drive significant change initiatives. You will drive the design and future-proofed GCS Sales Programs and Tools that fit the needs of the APAC sales teams and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with regional leadership teams to identify strategic opportunities and drive advocacy for regional needs with central teams. Serve as a thought leader on growth opportunities across GCS teams. 
  • Involve, align and manage cross-functional stakeholders across teams and markets, in order to successfully shape, launch, and land sales programs and workflow/tools priorities.
  • Enable and empower your team to successfully identify and prioritise feedback and solutions that will drive growth for the APAC GCS Sales business. Partner with your AMER and EMEA counterparts to influence the highest priority recommendations globally. 
  • Lead team to deliver on strategic business goals and operational priorities.
  • Lead regional deployment of sales program launches/pilots, and ensure strong landings by building out effective comms and go-to-market activations.
